About us

Humanity, Ummid.com feels, is succumbing to death due to the activities of the imperialist forces and the extremists all over the world. On one side the imperialist forces are dreaming for capturing the whole world, the extremists in their respective countries are threatening the weaker section of the society, making their life tougher in their own homelands.

In search of the solution to these conflicts, which is becoming more and more bloody day by day, we want to encourage dialogues between the communities and different religions.

Ummid.com wants to condemn, in a very clear terms, the ongoing bloody wars, suicide attacks, state sponsored terrorism, counter terrorism, bomb terror and mob terror. This condemnation is not out of any clarification or formality but because of very strong belief that the ongoing terrorism and counter terrorism, will only worsen the situation more and will not yield any peaceful result.

Ummid.com wishes to enhance the dialogue further by encouraging the queries and suggestions from its readers.

Meanwhile, Ummid.com intends to make it very clear that it is not against any individual, community or religion. Ummid.com is neither for targeting any religion, community or individual nor Ummid.com considers the religion as a reason for dispute and conflict. If any individual is mentioned in the site, it is because of his or her acts, which has nothing to do with his or her religion or community and the observations made here for public interest and are neither the exact view of The Awaz Multimedia & Publications nor its editorial staff.

Ummid.com strictly believes that a community or religion cannot be blamed and made responsible for the misdoings of any individual. Ummid.com, taking a guide from the verses of the Holy Qur’aan and under the guidance from the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) as he said:

"Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or an oppressed."

A man asked, "O Allah's Apostle! I will help him if he is oppressed, but if he is an oppressor, how shall I help him?"

The Prophet replied, "By preventing him from oppressing [others], for that is how to help him."

(Sahih Al-Bukhari: Narrated by Anas)

therefore, wishes to help not only the oppressed but those individuals also so that they realize their mistakes and live and let live “the humanity” in peace.

Last but not the least: Meanwhile, we want to express our gratitude to Sakhr Software and ISL Software Corporation for the support we received from their software, which enable us to put the English texts and translations of the Hadith.

Also, we want to express our very special gratitude to Google for their contribution which has made this site more useful, attractive and soothing to the users. Also, we want to express our very special thanks to fellow sites for the support from their for the images and other materials.
