Elections will be held to the Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand assemblies between Jan 28 and March 3, 2012, and votes will be counted March 4, it was announced Saturday. It will be the biggest test  

New Delhi: Following are the poll-related details for the five states scheduled to elect new assemblies early next year.

- Punjab: Voting on Jan 30, 2012. Constituencies: 117, voters: 17.4 million, polling stations: 19,724,

- Uttarakhand: Voting on Jan 30, 2012. Constituencies: 70, voters: 5.7 million, polling stations: 9,744

- Manipur: Voting on Jan 28, 2012. Constituencies: 60, voters: 1.6 million, polling stations: 2,325

- Goa: Voting on March 3. Constituencies: 40, voters: one million, polling stations: 1,612

- Uttar Pradesh: Seven phased voting on Feb 4, 8, 11, 15, 19, 23 and 28. Constituencies: 403, voters: 111.9 million, polling stations: 128,112.
