Islamic Madrasas are centers of peace and tranquility and the team raised here becomes flag-bearer of peace and tranquility but unfortunately today, not only Zionist forces but also miscreant elements of this country associate them with terrorism and directly Islamic Madrasas that has not only become troublesome for Muslims and Madrasa authorities but also injurious for the country. Speakers in anti-terrorism Rabita Conference, held here in Ghalib Academy under auspices of All India Deeni Madaris Board, expressed these views. The program was presided by the president of the Board Maulana Yaqoob Bulandshahri.

In his inaugural address in the conference, the secretary of Markazi Jamiat Ulama Hind Mufti Arshad Farooqui said Deeni Madaris Board is the name given to the process of connecting together all religious Madrasas. Today, Madrasas are being accused of terrorism and success in obviating this campaign could not be achieved by mere verbal statements, rather we will have to move ahead in company of all Madrasa people belonging to all schools of thought. He also placed a resolution of condolence for prominent religious scholar late Maulana Anzar Shah Kashmiri and narrated distinct qualities of the late Maulana before his speech. Maulana Mahmood said Islamic Madrasas are sanctuaries of peace and tranquilities and human values and peace and well-being are taught there. Respecting others’ rights, which comprise teachings of the Prophet (S.A.W.), is taught there and one who respects others’ rights can not be a tyrant, instead he is a tyrant who usurp others’ rights whereas Islam opposes usurping others’ rights.

In his presidential address, Maulana Yaqoob Bulandshahri said they condemn all sort of terrorism and also condemn severely the accusations of terrorism being made all over country against Madrasa people and students. He told that the objective of the Board is to raise its voice against atrocities and accusations against Muslims, Mosques and Madrasas. On this occasion, the Board also passed a declaration that condemns police for looking at people associated with Madrasa and Masjid with doubtfulness and for arresting blameless people by calling them suspects.
