Holy Quran is closely associated with
Ramadan for it was the month of Ramadan when the first five ayah of
Surah Alaq were revealed to Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be
upon him) the first time. Thereafter the remaining Holy Book was
revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in parts
with regular time intervals and on different occasions. That the
Quran was revealed in the month of Ramadan is described by the
Almighty Allah in these words:
It is the month of Ramadan in which
the Quran was revealed, a guidance for mankind with clear teachings
showing the Right Way and a criterion of truth and falsehood.
Therefore, anyone of you who witnesses that month should fast
therein, and whoever is ill or upon a journey shall fast a similar
number of days later on. Allah intends your well-being and does not
want to put you to hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed
period so that you should glorify His Greatness and render thanks to
Him for giving you guidance.
(Quran, Sura Al Baqara,
Ayah 185)
It is due to this association of Quran
with Ramadan that the Holy Book is recited in this month by the
Muslims world over with special emphasis. Also, people throng to the
mosques to listen to the Holy Book when Huffaz recite it
while offering Tarawih, the special Night Prayer in
congregation.
Quran - The
Word of Allah
Beginning with the first five Ayah of
Sura Alaq, Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammad (peace and
blessings be upon him) in parts during his twenty-three years of
life as the messenger. Earlier, like Quran that was revealed to
Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him), The Torah was
given to Prophet Moses (peace and blessings be upon him) and The
Bible was revealed to Prophet Eisa - The Christ (peace and blessings
be upon him). Apart from these Divine Books, books were also
revealed to some other Prophets (peace and blessings be upon them
all) in various parts of the world. However except Quran, all these
books including Torah and Bible cease to exist in their original
form. Quran too if it remains in its original form without even
change of a single word, it is because the Almighty Allah had
promised to preserve it into its original form:
Surely We have revealed this reminder
(The Qur'an); and We will surely preserve it Ourself.
(Quran, Sura Al Hijr, Ayah
9)
Time and again it is debated whether
Quran is the word of Allah, the Almighty or not. And, if indeed the
Holy Book is preserved in its original form more than fourteen
hundred years after its revelations. However all efforts have failed
and would remain so owing to the ample number of proofs, scientific
as well as material, to substantiate that not only the Quran is the
word of the Almighty Allah that was revealed to Prophet Mohammad
(peace and blessings be upon him) but it is also preserved in its
original form.
The historical accounts of Ramsess II
one of the kings of Egypt popularly know as Pharaoh or Firoun is
also one of the clear cases to substantiate the authenticity and
accuracy of Quran - The Word of Allah , the Almighty.

The video with this
article shows what Quran says about Ramsess II, one of the
Pharaoh in Egypt and Prophet Moses (peace and blessings be upon
him). Ramsess II was drowned in Red sea 1235 BC along with his
army. Miraculously, while his entire army vanished in the sea,
Ramsess II's body remained as it is and was found in 1881 after
remaining drowned under the Red Sea for 3116 years. A lesson for
the mankind, his body is in The Egyptian Museum's Royal Mummy

French
team meets Ramsess II
When Francisco Mitra became the president of France in 1981,
France requested the Egyptian Government to host the mummy of
Pharaoh
for
the purpose of running laboratory and archeological examinations on
the mummy of the most notorious dictator ever lived on earth.
Upon arrival, the royal attendants who were present there including
the French president himself and other ministers bowed in honor of
the mummy.
After the ceremony ended, the mummy was carried to a
specially-designed section at the Archeology Centre of France.
In
order to discover more about such a great mummy, the greatest French
archeological and anatomical scientists headed by Professor Maurice
Bucaille started the testing.
While the other
scientists were trying to restore the mummy, Professor Maurice was
mainly concerned with how did this mummy die!
The
final report of the scientists was released late at night which
states that the remaining salt in the mummy is overt evidence that
it was drown in the sea, and the body was rescued very shortly where
it was immediately embalmed to be saved. An amazing thing was still
confusing Professor Maurice is that how could this body possibly be
safer than any other mummy despite being taken out of the sea up
until this time.
Professor Maurice was writing his final report on what he thought
would be a new discovery about saving Pharaoh's body immediately
after his death and embalming it.
And
there, someone whispered to him that Muslims claim to know something
about the drowning of this mummy. Yet the Professor firmly denied
such a possibility saying that it's impossible to discover this
without the development of science and without using his high-tech
and complicated laboratories and computers.
To
his surprise, he was told that Muslims believe in a book called 'Quran'
and this Quran narrates the story of Pharaoh's drowning and ensures
the safety of his body after his death as to be a Sign to mankind.
The
Professor couldn't believe his own ears and started to wonder: How
can a book existed 1400 years ago speak about the mummy that was
only found 200 years ago, in 1881 ??!! How can that be possible
while the ancient Egyptian heritage was discovered only a few
decades ago and no one knew about it before??!! The Professor sat
down pondering on what he was told about the Holy Book that narrates
the drowning of Pharaoh without saying anything about his body!!??
Is it possible that the mummy in front of me is the one who was
chasing Moses years ago!!?? Is it possible Muhammad knew this 1400
years before!!??
The
Professor couldn’t sleep that night till they brought him the Old
Testament. He was surprised to read that the Holy Book didn’t
mention about the destiny of the body. All it says is that ‘no one
else was left alive, the sea drowned Pharaoh and his army.’ When the
scientists were done with the mummy, France returned it back to
Egypt. But Professor Maurice couldn’t rest for a moment since he was
told that Muslims know about the safety of the body. So he decided
to travel and meet the anatomy Muslim scientists. There he spoke
about his discovery of the safety of the mummy after its death in
the sea and so on.
One
of the Muslim scientists stood up and simply opened the Quran and
pointed at one verse to the Professor:
We shall save your body this day, so
that you may become a sign for the succeeding generations, indeed
many among mankind are heedless of Our signs!

Yunus, Ayah 92)
The
Professor was struck when he read this and immediately stood in
front of the crowd and said loudly ‘I believe in Quran. I believe in
Islam.’
Then he went back to France with a different face. In France he
dedicated years investigating the scientific discoveries, comparing
them with the Quran and trying to come up with one scientific
contradiction with the Quran. Finally he quoted one verse from the
Quran to be his conclusion:
No falsehood can approach it from
before or from behind. It is a revelation from the One Who is Wise
and Praiseworthy.

a result of all years of his research, Professor Maurice wrote a
book that shook all Europe especially the scientists there, The Holy
Books in the Light of Modern Science - A Study of Bible, Torah, Quran and Science. All copies were sold out immediately.
