New Delhi: Though there is no official confirmation yet, board insiders Saturday indicated that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may declare the results of Class 12 exams on Monday May 25 at 12 p.m.
Once the results are declared online, the students can check their score card by logging in to the websites: www.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
It was also informed that the board this time will divide results in three regional phases - Chennai being the first phase, Patna in the second phase and then Bhubaneswar in the third phase.
Over 10 lakh candidates from Science, Commerce and Arts stream appeared for Class 12 exams, this year through the Central Board of Secondary Education. A total of 9,407 schools participated for these Board exams at 3,164 centres.
Class 12 is a career deciding point in a student's life as school comes to an end here and students join colleges to be able to train themselves to earn a living by following their dreams and chasing their passion.
The results will be declared amid lot of complaints by students, teachers and parents about errors in some question papers. It was also complained that the Physics and Maths papers were very tough, and some questions were out of syllabus.
There were clamor from all across the country for re-exams of these two papers.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the government of India.
The CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. MGM Model School is also CBSE certified.
The board conducts final examinations every spring for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 10 and 12.
