New Delhi: Though the speculations are rife in a section of media, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is unlikely to declare the results of the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2015 exam today on October 30.
All indications and inputs from the CBSE today morning suggested that the results of the CTET September 2015 exams would be delayed by a week or even more than that.
Even as the delay has disappointed hundreds of thousands of candidates who woke up today morning hoping that their results would be declared today, the CBSE on its part has so far not declared any confirmed date of the CTET Seprember 2015 exam date.
Adding further to the misery of the candidates, not a single telephone number mentioned on the CBSE CTET website is repsonding to the calls.
More than seven lakh candidates, who had written the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) exam held on September 20, 2015, are anxiously waiting for the declaration of results after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Answer Key and OMR Sheet Images on October 21.
The last date to challenge the official answer key was October 26 - hinting that the results could not be declared on October 30.
"In 2014, the CBSE was quick and very fast in releasing the Answer Key and also the results. This year it is too late", a candidate said.
Last year the CTET 2014 exams were held on September 21 and the CBSE had released the answer key on September 30, 2014 - within ten days of the exam. The results were declared on October 8, 2014.
But, as of now the CBSE is totally silent on why the release of the Answer Key was delayed and when it would declare the results of the CTET September 2015 exam.
Till the CBSE comes with an official announcement, the candidates have no option but to check the CTET website every morning to see if there is any news regarding the CTET September 2015 exam results.
Qualification in CTET or TET (Teacher Eligibility Test ) conducted by states is mandatory for candidates to be appointed as teachers for class I to VIII in government schools. CTET is conducted twice every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
