Rome:
The Italian government has recently closed down five mosques in the country. As a protest of this step of the government, Muslims offered prayers on the roads.

A large number of Muslims gathered on the road and joined the prayers, The Siasat Daily News reported.

There have been campaigns against Islam and the Muslims in many countries of Europe. In some countries, hijab is being banned, and in other countries, prayers are being restricted.
