Pune: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra has released online the details of Vacant Seats for Special Round 1 for the students in Pune Region who have still not allotted a seat in any junior college for the academic year 2017-18.
Along with releasing the Vacant Seat details for FYJC Admission 2017 Special Round 1, the School Education and Sports Department has published on its website the revised schedule.
More than 30,000 seats, including 25,213 seats in General category and over 600 seats under the minority quota, are still up for a grab for the students who want to take admission in Junior College this year.
The entire process for admission to Pune colleges are taking place through portal pune.11thadmission.net.
The Vacant Seat details are also online on the FYJC admission website and is accessible through the link by clicking on pune.11thadmission.net.
The revised schedule for Special Round 1 can also be downloaded by clicking on pune.11thadmission.net.
The School Education and Sports Department further said that a link for filling up the choice form (part-2) will be made available on Friday August 11 at 11:00 am. Interested students can fill up the choice form (part-2) for Special Round 1 before 05:00 pm on August 13, 2017.
"A choice form (part-2) will be made blank and displayed to students.
It will be mandatory for students to fill their choices for this special round 1.
"The students who have filled fresh choice form (part-2) will only be considered for allocation process in this special round 1", the revised schedule and instructions for FYJC Special Round said.
"If any of student doesn’t fill choice form
(part-2), will not be considered in special
round 1. No previous choices will be considered in this round. Hence, student has to fill fresh choices (part-2).
"The students who have not been admitted or not allotted till the end of 4th round will be allowed to fill fresh choice forms", the education department said.
Special Round 1 allocation list will be released online on August 16, 2017 by 05:00 pm, according to the revised schedule.
A link for college admission will be active till 05:00 pm on August 19, 2017 and students have to take admission accordingly. The link will be disabled after the deadline.
The FYJC Admission authorities under the School Education and Sports Department had earlier announced that it will conduct four rounds of admission process once every week between June 15 to July 15, 2017.
If seats remain vacant, three additional rounds of admission will be held once every two weeks up to September 1.
A ‘zero round’ will be conducted for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Around 30% seats in online admissions will be reserved for girl students from poor backgrounds.
