The School Education and Sports Department, Maharashtra is set to release online the details of Vacant Seats and Cut-offs of various colleges after first round of FYJC 2017 admissions in Nagpur region today i.e. Friday July 14.

As per the revised schedule released by the education department, students are advised to change options and streams for Second Merit List, if they wish, between July 15 and July 18, 2017.

Students should also keep in mind that the education department has set 05:00 pm today as the time to declare online the details of vacant seats and cut offs after first round of FYJC admission.

However a delay of few hours is possible becuase of technical or other reasons.

The education department had earlier released the first Merit List of the students (First Round of Centralised Admission) of Nagpur, who have registered for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC) on Tuesday July 11.

The scheduled time was Monday July 10. The First merit list however was released after a delay of one day.

Students should note that the Second Merit List for FYJC Admission 2017 will be released on July 20, 2017 whereas the Third Merit List will be out on July 29 and Fourth Merit List will be published on August 06, 2017.

If seats remain vacant, three additional rounds of admission will be held once every two weeks up to September 1.

A ‘zero round’ will be conducted for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

The FYJC Admission authorities under the School Education and Sports Department had earlier announced that it will conduct four rounds of admission process once every week between June 15 to July 15, 2017.

Around 30% seats in online admissions will be reserved for girl students from poor backgrounds.

The FYJC online admission process in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur regions started after the 2017 SSC results were declared in June second week.

The last date to fill Part 2 Option Form was June 27. But, due to various reasons the process was delayed. Hence, the Education department decided to extend the last date till June 29.

Separate FYJC admission portals have also been launched for the students in Aurangabad, Pune, Mumbai MMR, Amravati and Nashik regions. The details of vacant seats and cut offs after first round of these regions will also be released today.
