Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to declare online the Class 10 (Matric) results 2017 in the next week - most probably on or before June 15, multiple reports claimed though the board itself has not made any formal announcement.
Media reports quoting Board Chairman Anand Kishor said that the board has prepared the result of the Class 10 Matric students and will release it any time on or before June 15.
It is also learnt that taking note of the recent controversy about Bihar Intermediate topper, the board is taking extra caution to avoid any such discrepancies in the matric result this year.
Once declared, the results will be available at the Bihar board official website, the link for which is "biharboard.ac.in".
The Bihar board Class 10 or Secondary results will also be available for download on "bihar.indiaresults.com"
Around 15 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 10 i.e. Class X examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) from March 01 to March 08.
In order to download the results, candidates should visit the official website and click on the appropriate link marked with "Class 10 Matric Result 2017".
On the page which gets open, the candidates should enter their roll number and click on 'Submit' button. The results will appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.

For example, if your Roll Code is 11001 & Roll Number is 00001, then you must SMS - BIHAR10 1100100001. Send this SMS to 56263.
The Bihar board declared the Class 12 Inter results on May 30.
The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.
Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
