FYJC Admission 2017: Part 2 Option form filling now underway, Last date to apply June 27

Part 2 Option Form FYJC

Part 2 Option form for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC) in Mumbai MMR and Pune region for the academic year 2017-18 is now online on the FYJC 2017 Admission portal. Candidates can fill the Part 2 Option form till June 27, the School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra said.

The Part 2 Option form are online on mumbai.11thadmission.net. Students seeking admission in FYJC Pune can access the Part 2 Option form on pune.11thadmission.net.

A students needs to go to the official website by clicking here mumbai.11thadmission.net. On home page, go to Student Login section, login using ID and Password, and click on the Part 2 Option form and fill it.

Improtant Dates:

The last date to fill the Part 2 Option form is June 27, 2017.

The General Merit List will be out on June 30 whereas the First Merit List will be released on July 07, according to the schedule of FYJC Admission 2017 released by the relevant authorities.

The released schedule further says that the Second Merit List will be released online on July 17, Third Merit List will be out on July 25 and Fourth Merit List will be published on August 01, 2017.

The FYJC Admission authorities under the School Education and Sports Department had earlier announced that it will conduct four rounds of admission process once every week between June 15 to July 15, 2017.

If seats remain vacant, three additional rounds of admission will be held once every two weeks up to September 1.

A ‘zero round’ will be conducted for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Around 30% seats in online admissions will be reserved for girl students from poor backgrounds.

The entire admission process will be done thorugh the special portal launch for the purpose the direct link for which is mumbai.11thadmission.net for Mumbai MMR students and through pune.11thadmission.net for students in Pune region.

A student is needed to create a unique identification (UID) number by registering on the online admissions website by using the login and password provided in the book. The UID number will be used to track admissions of students

The department has published online the video as well as in PDF format all the details guiding students how to fill the form, number of seats, quotas under different categories and other things needed for the admission to First Year Junio College (FYJC).

Students can click on the above link and download the relevant file.

It will also announce that students opting for admission to first year junior college (FYJC) can select only one stream and opt for a maximum of 10 colleges, instead of 50 in the city, from the next academic year.

Students appearing for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations, which are equivalent to class 10, will be allowed to secure provisional admissions to first year junior colleges (FYJC) on their predicted scores.

Meanwhile, students willing to seek admission to class XI in Pune can fill the second part of the application form from June 16, deputy director of education (Pune division) Dinkar Temkar said on Tuesday.

Filling of the second part of the application form is compulsory for the students to be part of the centralized admission process.

In Pune, the admissions will be done for the 2017-18 academic year to fill 94,580 seats across various mediums and streams. Of the total seats, 13,090 are in arts, 36,185 in commerce, 37,420 in science and 78,85 is in HSC vocational streams. This time, there are about 14,915 seats more than the last academic year.
