Riyadh: The Indian business community in Janadariyah felicitated the Indian Ambassador, Embassy officials, businessmen and volunteers for their relentless contributions and services to make the Janadariyah 2018 a huge success.
This year India was invited by Saudi authorities to participate in Janadariyah as the guest of honor country. Accordingly Indian embassy officials and volunteers from different parts of India strived hard to make it a grand success.
Speaking on this occasion the Indian Ambassador Ahmed Javed congratulated the whole team. He attributed the success to the dedication and team work of the Embassy staff and volunteers who worked round the clock.
"Due to the collective efforts we have set up a great pavilion displaying the greatness and variety of India. India’s growth story, technical advancement, traditional folk dances, Bollywood performances and state pavilions with sprinkling of localized flavors attracted the huge crowd of Saudis and other expatriates", Ahmed Javed said.
"It increased the level of curiosity among visitors to such an extent that the number of visas issued by Indian Embassy increased in huge number", he added.

The Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy, Dr. Suhel Aijaz Khan said that the Janadariyah is the most important cultural event of the Middle East.
"Being the guest of honor country with huge pavilion we got an opportunity to display many attractions. Yoga was demonstrated every day and it attracted the interest of many Saudis. Best of the diverse Indian culture was displayed by the different states", he said.
Chairman, Organizing Committee and General Manager, Masah Co., Eng. Mohammed Abdul Nayeem said that Janadariyah offered a great platform to the Indian business community to display their success and achievement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The members of the organizing committee comprising T. Srinivasan, Eng. Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, Eng. Mohammed Shakeel, CEO Nawazinda Telecom Technologies Co. Ltd. and Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali jointly presented the memento of appreciation to the Indian Ambassador Ahmed Javed.
Indian Ambassador Ahmed Javed presented plaques of appreciation to the business community who participated in Janadariyah. They included MV Rao, VP and Country Head, L&T, Zameer Mohammed SA, Area Manager KSA & Bahrain, Tata Motors, Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, Masah Co., Dr. Fadi M Al Ghareeb, CEO, Aster Sanad Hospital, Bachu Vidya Sagar, VP and Country Head, Shaporji Palonji Group, Sachin Ibrahim, Lulu Hyper Market, Mohammed Afnas, ITL, Dr. Shinoop Raj, Regional Head Riyadh & Dammam, Abeer Hospital, Mohammed Rafi, Gateway Holidays and Niyas Ellikal, Sales Manager, Jet Airways.
Ahmed Javed also presented mementos to the Indian embassy officials and the members of the Managing Committee. They included the Managing Committee members T. Srinivasan, Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, Eng. Mohammed Shakeel and Dr. Mohammed Ashraf. While the embassy officials were DCM, Dr. Suhail Aijaz Khan, First Secretary Dr. Hifzur Rahman, Second Secretaries, Naveen Kanwal Sharma, Dr. C Rambabu and Vijay Kumar Singh.
One of the main attractions at the Indian pavilion at Janadariyah was display of diverse culture tradition of India. The volunteers of different states played an important role in this. Their efforts were recognized and appreciated presenting certificates to them.
Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh Dr. Suhail Aijaz Khan presented the appreciation certificates to Salman Khaled (UP), Ahmed Imthias (Tamilnadu), Syed Khaled Kareem (Telangana), Anthony (Andhra Pradesh), Santosh Shetty (Karnataka), Debashree (Orissa), Stanley Jose and Saleem (Kerala). Eng. Mohammed Shakeel received the certificate on behalf of Niyaz Ahmed for Bihar. Volunteers of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal did not turned up for the event so their certificates will be sent to them.
On this occasion the DCM Suhail Aijaz Khan also presented appreciation certificates to the volunteers of the event Mohammed Junaid Abdul Malik and Eng. Talha Owais.
The Indian Ambassador appreciated the efforts of organizing committee members for celebrating the successful participation of India at Janadariyah 2018. He presented a memento of appreciation to the main sponsor Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, General Manager Masah Co.
Many prominent Saudi businessmen attended the event. They were Dr. Abdullah Al Maglouth, Chairman Al Maglouth Group and head of investment committee at Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Said Al Rabiah Chairman Al Rabiah Group and RGTT, Ibrahim Al Mojel, Chairman Al Mojel Group and many others.
Event Coordinator, Managing Committee Member and the man behind the event Dr. Mohammed Ashraf Ali proposed the vote of thanks. He thanked the organizers of Janadariyah, the Ministry of National Grauds for inviting India as the guest of honor for 2018. He specially thanked Saud Abdullah Al Rumi, Director General, National Festival of Heritage and culture, Ministry of National Guards, Col. Sulaiman Mohammed Al Kernas, Asst. Director General, National Festival of Heritage and culture, Ministry of National Guards and Lieut. Col. Abdul Mohsen Al Aqeel, Administrative Director of Janadariyah festival for their extensive help and support to India during the whole Janadariyah festival.
Omer Khan conducted the proceedings as master of ceremony. Hafiz Zayed Hussain recited the verses of the holy Quran. National anthem of India and Saudi Arabia were played at the end.
