New Delhi: Swayam Das of St.Mary's ICSE school, Navi Mumbai has topped the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2018 exams, results of which are declared by the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today afternoon.
Swayam Das scored 99.40% marks. The second position is shared by Jasmine Kaul Chahal of St.Joseph's Convent, Jalandhar and Anokhi Amit Mehta of Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. Both of them scored 99.20 per cent.
The third position is shared by 12 candidates - Nidhi Nilesh Dhanani- Vibgyor High, Mumbai, Sarantha Danielle Correa- Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai, Vishruti Parag Shah- Vibgyor High, Mumbai, Neel Mulay- Greenwood High, Bengaluru, Vasvi Gupta- Mayo College Girls' School, Mumbai, Sarthak Mittal- Smt. Lilavatibai Podar High School, Mumbai, Vedika Manish Manek- St. Gregorious High School, Mumbai, Abheya Arora- St. Joseph's Convent School, Jalandhar, Swarup Padhi- Kerala Samajam Model School, Jamshedpur, Priya Kumari- Hill Top School, Jamshedpur, Spriha Pandey- The Heritage School, Kolkata and Anuraag Ghosh- The Aryans School, Kolkata. They all scored 99% marks and jointly bagged the 3rd rank.
The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X (Class 10th) 2018 exam on its official website today on Monday May 14, 2018.
Overall Pass Percentage of ICSE 2018 exam is 98.51%. Most of the students have bagged Grade 1 meaning they have scored 90-100 marks in most subjects.
The results of Class X (ICSE) year 2018 is declared on Monday May 14, 2018 at 03:00 pm on the CISCE official website as well as via SMSM on mobile phone.
The results of Class X (ICSE) 2018 exams can be checked through Careers Portal of the Council, on the official website of the council and also through SMS, the statement added.

The results is also available via SMS. To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X results by SMS, the candidate will require to type ICSE followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
This year, the board conducted the ICSE 2018 examination from February 26 to March 28, 2018 at various test centres. A total of 1,75,299 students from 2,106 schools had appeared for the Class 10th examination which was conducted in 57 written subjects of which 22 are Indian languages, 9 foreign languages and one classical language.
The council also said the pass marks for the ICSE exam will now be 33% instead of 35% to be declared successful. The change in the passing marks for the ICSE will be effective from this year and not from 2019 as communicated by the board earlier.
In 2017, the pass percentage of ICSE exam was 98.53%. A total of 1,76,327 students had registered for the exam in 2017. The 2017 ICSE/ISC results were declared on May 29.
In 2016 the results for ICSE and ISC exams both were declared on May 06. The overall pass percentage in 2016 for ICSE was 98.54% while the pass percentage for ISC was 96.56%.
