Watch: Israeli official heckled at International Court of Justice

An Israeli official who was defending the occupying regime’s bloodletting in the refugee-packed city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip was Friday May 17, 2024 heckled at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The Hague: An Israeli official who was defending the occupying regime’s bloodletting in the refugee-packed city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip was Friday May 17, 2024 heckled at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) was hearing a South Africa plea to intervene in Gaza war where the Israeli Occupation Forces after destroying over 40% of the besieged enclave are now planning to invade Rafah.

On the first day of the hearing Thursday, South Africa reiterating its accusation that the Israelis are committing genocide of the Palestinians, urged the UN court to make explicit what was implicitly said in its order first announced in January and later in March.

In response, Israel denied the allegations even as the Israeli killing machine is continuing the massacre of the Palestinians even as the world court is in the midst of hearing the case against it.

On Friday, Israeli legal advisor Tamar Kaplan Tourgeman was asking the ICJ to dismiss the case before the tribunal by South Africa.

"Israel requests the Court to reject the request for the modification and of provisional measures submitted by the Republic of South Africa," Tourgeman was telling the court.

She was, however, interrupted by a woman shouting, “Liars! Liars!” in a rare protest in the Great Hall of Justice courtroom.

The interjection made the Israeli official turn back to try to locate the source of the voice, who was escorted out of the venue by security guards.

Around 1.5 million Palestinians had moved to Rafah from the ravages of a genocidal war that the Zionist regime has been waging against Gaza since October 7 last year.
Out of them about 500,000 have relocated themselves to North of Gaza once again.
