Mumbai: Ghulam Muhammed, well known writer and one of the founders of IDRAAK and once a close associate of ex MP Syed Shahabuddin, passed away Thursday night after a brief illness, family sources said.
His last journey will start from his Carter Road residence and will be buried in Bandra Kabrastan, Naupada after Friday prayers today afternoon, family sources said.
Ghulam Muhammed had served in the banking sector in the Gulf countries for a few decades. He was very active in Majlis Mushawart, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) and other Muslim platforms and NGOs.
IDRAAK and Mashwara Group were outcome of his brainchild and he took head on the challenges posed by the Leftists activists by exposing their dual nature in case of Palestine and also in India, where the cause of the community was sabotaged by nefarious designs by activists with Muslim Names.
Ghulam Muhammed was also at the forefront to expose the fascist agenda in politics apart from attacking pseudo Leftists and Pseudo Secularists Ghulam sb was very keenly monitoring the economic developments in India and abroad.
He was used to actively monitoring the mainstream media and was regularly posting his comments and letters to editors through e-mails and tweets. His short write ups on the national and international issues, were published and taken note of by almost all print and electronic media platforms.
Those handling the emails at different media houses must be familiar with emails sent by Ghulam Muhammed, which now will be discontinued after his demise.
The last email Ghulam Muhammed had sent was on November 06, 2017. Sent to his mailing list, it was a forwarded message from "Editor@impact-magazine.com" titled: ‘CIA and Mossad created ISIS’, says Julian Assange as Wikileaks releases 500k US cables.
