Gurgaon: Holding candles, relatives and friends of Geetanjali, the slain wife of a Gurgaon judge, blocked the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway here Sunday evening and sought the arrest of her killers, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Pal Singh.
The protestors converged at Rajiv Chowk around 7.30 p.m. and stopped all traffic on the road, putting motorists to inconvenience, said the police official.
Geetanjali's body, with three gunshot wounds on chin, chest and stomach was found July 17 evening, near a play ground in crowed police lines campus. Garg's licensed revolver was found near the body. A murder case was registered.
The protestors, including her friends from Gurgaon and Panchkula towns of Haryana, alleged that Geetanjali was killed in a pre-planned manner.
They also sought action against Geetanjali's husband Ravneet Garg and his family for alleged dowry harassment.
Before reaching Rajiv Chowk, the protestors demonstrated outside Garg's house and District and Sessions Judge Shekhar Dhawan's official residence in Civil Lines, police said.
