At least five people were killed and other badly wounded when Israel bombed a rocket base belonging to a hardline militant group in Egypt's Rafah city in North Sinai, reported Xinhua Friday citing a security source.

An Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle bombed the base after Israel received tip off that the militants would fire a rocket Friday afternoon into the Jewish state, the source.
