The United States and Israel are primarily responsible for the turmoil in the Arab world, where thousands of innocent persons are being killed, leading Islamic scholar Salman Nadvi said on Saturday.

Salman Nadvi, a professor at the renowned Darul Uloom Nadwat ul-Ulama in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh said that the United Nations needed to look into the issue in greater detail.
