'Burqa clad women' in Modi's Goa rally were RSS workers: Congress
Monday January 13, 2014 5:34 PM, IANS

RSS workers wearing burqas were present at BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's public rally in Goa Sunday, the Congress alleged Monday.

Addressing a press conference, Congress spokesperson Babu Azgaonkar said: "RSS workers were given burqas specially tailored and they were seated at the rally to make it appear that minority community members were attending in large number."

He also named two BJP party leaders who Azgaonkar said were responsible for tailoring nearly 5,000 burqas for the meeting.
