Earlier, JAC Chairman Dr. Anand Bhushan had said the results would be declared in second week of May.

"The Class 10 results will be declared on May 10, while Class 12 results will be out on May 30. Since, we are the first to start board exams, we will declare results before all the other boards", he said.

To ensure that board exam papers are evaluated according to norms, Bhushan has instructed evaluators to use step marking, like the CBSE board, so that students can score better.

For the first time, JAC officials are overseeing evaluation of papers in the privacy of their office chambers.

"CCTV cameras have been installed at a few evaluation centres on a trial basis to to ensure transparency," said Bhushan.
