Aligarh varsity's Nabeela wins best paper award at International Conference

Aligarh:
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Research Assistant at Department of Microbiology, JN Medical College, Ms Nabeela has won the first prize for oral paper presentation at the International Conference of Biotech “GENO PRO-2015” held at Inverties University, Bareilly.

Nabeela presented her paper entitled “Alteration of serum inflammatory Cytokines in Active Pulmonary TB” in which the study revealed that cytokines can serve as biomarkers of anti-tuberculosis treatment response.

The research related to her study is in progress at the Department of Microbiology, JNMC, AMU under Young Scientist project funded by UP CST, Lucknow and is being supervised by Dr Nazish Fatima.

The research work has also been presented at various national and international conferences.
