New Delhi: Umar Imam, Adil Ashraf and Arsalan are three Muslims who figured in the list of 110 successful candidates recommended by the Union Public Commission (UPSC) for India Forest Service.
According to the merit list of the UPSC exam for Indian Forest Service held in Nov-Dec 2015 and interviews held in Jan-Feb 2016, Arsalan ranked 11 in the merit list of the successful candidates. Adil Ashraf and Umar Imam respectively ranked 48 and 58 in the merit list.
"Based on the result of the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2015 held by Union Public Service Commission in Nov-Dec, 2015 followed by Personality Test in Jan-Feb, 2016, the list of candidates, in order of merit, has been released for appointment to different posts in Indian Forest Service", the UPSC said Thursday.
Appointment to the Service shall be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available and fulfillment of other criteria, the UPSC added.
UPSC has a “Facilitation Counter” near Examination Hall Building in its campus. Candidates may obtain any information / clarification regarding their examination/recruitment on working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs in person or over Telephone Nos. 23385271/23381125/23098543.
The Result will also be available on the website of the UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.
The marks of candidates are expected to be available on the website www.upsc.gov.in within fifteen days from the date of publication of result.
