New Delhi: Though the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not announced any specific date so far, it is most likely that it will release the OMR Sheets and Responses of the candidates and the official Answer Keys of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - UG (NEET 2017) in the next few days.
The CBSE has however fixed June 08 as the tentative date to declare the NEET 2017 results. Hence it is most likely that the NEET 2017 official Answer Keys and OMR Sheets will be declared by the end of this week.
Some media reports have also claimed that the the NEET 2017 official Answer Keys will be released on May 20.
The CBSE is yet to declare any confirmed date for the release of the official Answer Keys and OMR Sheets and advises candidates to remain in touch with its website for an update.
"The CBSE will display Answer Key of the questions giving opportunity to the candidates to challenge in case of any ambiguity in the answer on the website cbseneet.nic.in. For exact date of display of Answer Key, candidates may remain in touch with website", NEET 2017 Information Bulletin says under the heading DISPLAY OF ANSWER KEY FOR CHALLENGE.
Similary under the heading DISPLAY OF OMR SHEETS AND RESPONSES ON WEBSITE, NEET 2017 Information Bulletin says, "The CBSE will display the images of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses graded by the Machine of all the candidates on the website www.cbseneet.nic.in. For exact date of display the images of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses, candidates may remain in touch with website."
"Candidates will be given an opportunity to make online challenge against the Answer Key on payment of
Rs.1000/- per answer challenged. Rs.1000/- per answer will be refunded to candidate if his/her challenge
is accepted by the Board", it adds.
Regarding the declaration of NEET 2017 results, the Information Bulletin says, "The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the NEET – 2017 Examination, evaluate the Answer Sheets and the result will be hosted on website www.cbseneet.nic.in.
"Exact date of declaration of result will be intimated through website. The CBSE will prepare the merit list/ wait list as per the directives of, DGHS, MCI and DCI", it says.
"No category wise result sheet will be prepared. As soon as the result is ready, CBSE will host the results on the website and thereafter candidates may download the Result Sheets.
All Candidates appearing in NEET - 2017 Examination must remain in touch with the websites of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counselling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in) and Participating States/Universities/ Institutions till conclusion of final round of Counselling.
The CBSE had conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET-UG-2017 on 7th May, 2017 from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm in offline mode across the country. The online exams were held on May 9.
The exams, conducted in 10 languages at 1921 Exam Centres in 103 cities, were held for UG admissions to 95,000 seats - 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS, in all Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed Universities across the country.
A total of 11, 38,890 students had registered for this examination including 1522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs and 613 Foreigners.
