Chennai: The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) has declared online the Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 exam 2017 results on its official website tnresults.nic.in today on Friday May 19 at 10:00 am in the morning.
The overall pass percentage stood at 94.4%, which is 0.8% higher than the previous year. This is the highest pass percentage recorded in the last five years.
The government has done away with declaring State ranks from this year. However, it has announced the number of students who scored centum in each subject.
The TNBSE SSLC Class X exam results 2017 are now online abd available on the official website (tnresults.nic.in) of Tamil Nadu state board of secondary education.
Students are requested to keep all their necessary board exam details ready such as the official roll number, candidate name and Date of birth handy.

- Visit the official website "tnresults.nic.in".
- Enter your Registration number
- Enter Date of Birth in correct format
- Click on "Get Marks"
- Download and then take a printout of the same.
The TN board had earlier officially announced that it will declare the Tamil Nadu SSLC Class X result 2017 today Friday May 19, 2017.
"SSLC March 2017 Examination Results expected on 19th May 2017 at 10:00 Hrs" a message posted on TN board official website tnresults.nic.in says.
Similary a message posted on results.nic.in says, "Tamil Nadu Board Examination Results ... SSLC Class Xth results 2017 ...... To be announced on May 19, 2017 at 10:00 Hrs."
The Tamil Nadu SSLC Examination 2017 were conducted from March 08 to March 30, 2017 at hundreds of exam centres across the state. As per the board statistics, the maximum number of students wrote examination in the Tamil Medium.
The Tamil Nadu board SSLC results were declared on May 25 in 2016. A total of 10,23,566 students had appeared in 2016 and the state had recorded a pass percentage of 93.60%. R. Sivakumar and Prema Sudha shared the top rank.
The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) declared Plus 2 HSC Class 12 result on Friday May 12. The overall pass percentage on TN Plus 2 was 92.1%, a marginal increase of 0.7% from last year. While the pass percentage for girls was 94.5%, it was 89.3% for boys, as per 2017 results.
