Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood Star Aamir Khan is on way to Istanbul to promote his upcoming film "Secret Superstar" in Turkey. The film is scheduled to be released during Diwali and it is reported that the actor wants the film to be released in Turkey at the same time.
“Aamir Khan, Bollywood’s great personality and actor is on his way to Turkey and will be there in the country from 4th to 7th October 2017”, Consulate General Of The Republic Of Turkey said in a statement.
Stating that Aamir Khan has a huge fan following in Turkey, the consulate said in Turkey the actor will promote his upcoming movie ‘’SECRET SUPERSTAR’’.
The consulate said while his stay in Turkey, Aamir Khan will meet and interact with his fans, and also meet different section of the Turkish society.
Aamir Khan will also meet well known personalities of the country including the artists whose serials are dubbed in Hindi and are being screened in India.
While taking off for Turkish capital Istanbul, Aamir Khan himself posted a message on Twitter to inform his fans about his Turkey visit.

The film, featuring Zaira Wasim of Dangal will be released in India and Turkey on October 19.
"With a strong and universally appealing storyline and the presence of one of our biggest superstars, we are confident that the film will receive as much love in Turkey and other international markets, as it does in India", Vibha Chopra, Head - Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution and Acquisition) said.
Apart from Turkey, the film will also release in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE/GCC and Pakistan. It is distributed internationally by Zee Studios International.
