DME Tamil Nadu Medical Admission 2018: The Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) has released on its website tnhealth.org Tentative Counseling Schedule of Phase II (Second Round Counseling Schedule) for admission in government medical colleges, ESIC, Raja Muthiah Medical College and government quota seats in Self Financing Medical colleges and BDS seats in Government Dental Colleges.
According to the latest Revised Tentative Schedule released by the Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu), TN Health UG NEET MBBS/BDS Second Round Counseling (Phase II Counseling) will be done from August 11 to August 13, 2018.
"The counselling session for 2nd phase of MBBS/BDS Courses in Government Colleges and Government seats in Self-Financing Medical/Dental Colleges, which was scheduled to be conducted from August 10 to August 12, is proposed to be conducted from August 11 to August 13, 2018 so as to arrive the Seat Matrix before the date of counselling", Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) said.
"A detailed schedule is expected shortly", the Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) says.
The Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) had released on June 28, 2018 the Provisional Rank List for MBBS/BDS Govternment and Management Quota of the students who have applied for admission to First Year MBBS/BDS courses for 2018-19.
"The Rank list is drawn based on marks obtained in NEET UG 2018 conducted by National Board of Examination. Candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS Course from the said rank list only. Candidates will be called for counselling according to their rank", DME Tamil Nadu said.
The Directorate of Medical Education Tamil Nadu (DME Tamil Nadu) issued the admission notification on June 10, 2018. Consequently, it started admission procedure from June 11. The last date for receipt of filled in application was fixed as June 19, 2018.
The TN Health UG NEET 2018 Medical Counseling for Admission to Government colleges was put on hold following the Madras High Court order asking the CBSE to grant grace marks to the students of Tamil Nadu. The CBSE has challenged the HC order in Supreme Court.
