Kohima (Nagaland): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is set to declare online the results of Class 10 or High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination on Friday May 18, the board said in an official statement.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) says it will declare the NBSE Nagaland Class 10 result on Friday May 18 but has not fixed a time. "The NBSE Nagaland HSLC Result 2018 will be declared on Friday by afternoon", the official statement said.
The Nagaland board HSLC routine results can be checked on official website www.nbsenagaland.com and also through SMS.
Steps to check NBSE HSLC Class 10th Result 2018
- Go to official website by clicking here: nbsenagaland.com
- Click on the link "HSLC Results 2018"
- Enter your roll number and date of birth, and other details if asked.
- Click on submit/login button
- Take a printout and save the result for future reference.
To get Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSLC or Class X results via SMS, the students have to send messages like this: HSLC (Class 10) Examination 2018: SMS - NB10<space>ROLL NUMBER to 54242. Or SMS Result<space>NAG10<space>ROLL NUMBER to 58888.
The provisional Result Gazettes will be issued to all the registered institutions of the Board. The Results will also be available on the notice board of the Office.
The board has also asked the heads of registered institutions to collect the marksheets and other documents from the afternoon of May 18 to May 21, 2018.
The NBSE HSLC 10th 2018 routine exam was held in the month fo March/April 2018 at 54 centres across the state. 10,437 boys and 11,275 girls had registered for the HSLC examination from 78 centres.
Last year, both the HSLC, HSSLC results were declared on 8 May 2017. A total of 22,446 students had appeared for the Nagaland HSLC 2017 exams. Of them 15,754 cleared it taking the pass percentage to 70.19%. The pass percentage registered an increase of 4.77% compared to 2016.
Deepa Mishra of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School Dimapur ranked first by securing 97.67 per cent while Nandita Paul of Pranab Vidyapith HSS Dimapur and Harsh Jain of Don Bosco HSS Dimapur ranked second and third respectively with 97.17 per cent and 96.67 per cent respectively.
Famously known by its short name i.e. NBSE, the Nagaland Board of School Education is the primary school education board in the state of Nagaland. The board operates under the Nagaland state government and looks after the development and propagation of school education in the state.
The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC Class 12 results are also scheduled to be announced on Monday May 18, 2018.
