New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to make active on its website ctet.nic.in the link to download e-Admit Cards of the candidates who have registered to appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test to be held in December 2018.
"The candidate’s e-Admit Cards, will be available on website showing the particulars along with the photograph and signature of the candidates on the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in from 22-11-2018", the CBSE said in an official statement.
"No admit card will be issued separately by the Board. These are to be downloaded only by the candidates", the CBSE said.
The candidates whose Admit Card is not available should immediately contact the CTET unit by November 30, 2018.
"The candidate whose admit card have not been uploaded on CTET website are hereby given one more opportunity. Such candidates must contact the CTET Unit by 30-11-2018 (Friday) along with the copy of their confirmation page/proof of fee submission failing which the Board will not be responsible for non-issue of admit card to any such candidate", it said.
"Thereafter no such requests will be entertained", the CBSE said.
"Candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Card from official Website only, i.e. www.ctet.nic.in to appear for the examination as the designated centres and read the instructions carefully on schedule time, prohibited items and reach the examination centre well in time to avoid any hardship", the CBSE said.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET 2018 on Sunday December 09, 2018, the board said in a one line message posted on its website.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had on August 01 released on its website ctet.nic.in the Notification of Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET 2018 and detailed Information Bulletin. The CBSE however had not finalised the CTET 2018 Exam date.
The CTET 2018 will be conducted in twenty languages in 92 cities all over the country, the CBSE said.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier fixed the CTET 2018 date as Sunday September 16, 2018 and had also asked the teachers to apply online. The CBSE had however stopped the online application citing "technical reasons".
As of now, the CBSE has started receving Online Application for CTET 2018. But, it has not revealed the exact date of examination.
Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Questions): It will comprise of 15 Questions on Child Development (Primary School Child), 5 Questions on Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs 5 Questions and 10 Questions on Learning and Pedagogy.
Language - I 30 Questions: It will comprise of 15 Questions each on Language Comprehension and Pedagogy of Language Development.
Language – II 30 Questions: It will comprise of 15 Questions each on Comprehension and Pedagogy of Language Development 15 Questions.
Mathematics 30 Questions: It will comprise of 15 Questions based on Geometry, Shapes & Spatial Understanding, Solids around Us, Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Multiplication and other topics. And, 15 Questions on Pedagogical issues like Nature of Mathematics/Logical thinking; understanding children’s thinking and reasoning patterns and strategies of making meaning and learning, Place of Mathematics in Curriculum amd Language of Mathematics.
Environmental Studies 30 Questions: It will comprise of 15 Questions on Family and Friends like Relationships, Work and Play, Animals, Plants and others. And, 15 Questions on Pedagogical Issues like Concept and scope of EVS, Significance of EVS, integrated EVS, Environmental Studies & Environmental Education and others.
It will cover Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics and Science and Social Studies/Social Sciences. For detailed syllabus of classes I-VIII, please refer to NCERT syllabus and textbooks along with the CTET September 2018 Information Bulletin.
