Uttar Pradesh UPTET 2018 Last Date of Application

Uttar Pradesh TET 2018 Registration: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has extended till October 07, 2018 the last date of application to register for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP-TET) examination 2018, according to the latest update about the important exam.

According to the earlier UPTET 2018 schedule, the last date to apply for UP TET 2018 was October 04. The last date of application for UOTET 2018 has now been extended upto October 07, 2018. Candidates can pay fees upto October 08, 2018.

The decision has been taken after the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) website upbasiceduboard.gov.in reported technical glitches. The website was crashed till since last few days and was live only on Tuesday.

How to apply for Uttar Pradesh TET 2018

  1. Go to the official website of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board by clicking here: upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link marked with UPTET
  3. There will be a link for notification, application and other links
  4. Click on the 'Apply Online' link
  5. Enter the required details
  6. Complete the payment process
  7. Click to submit

Candidates should note that last date to apply for UPTET 2018 is October 07 up to 06:00 pm whereas last date to submit application fee is October 08, 2018 and last date to print application form is October 08 up to 06:00 pm.

According to the UPTET 2018 Notification, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will release the UPTET 2018 Admit Card on October 18, 2018, UPTET 2018 Answer Keys on November 05 and UPTET 2018 Result will be declared on November 20, 2018.

The UPTET will beconducted in two batches. The first batch exam was held from 10:00 am and went on till 12:30 pm. The second batch exam was held from 2:30 pm and went on till 5:00 pm.

The first batch exam was for those candidates who had applied for teacher roles of Class 6 to 8. The second batch exam was for those candidates who had applied for teacher roles of Class 1 to 5.

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET, conducted as per the NCTE guidelines, is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from classes 1 to 8.

Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those opting for classes 6 to 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
