Aurangabad (Maharashtra): Imtiyaz Jaleel, Aurangabad Central MLA, has been fielded by Asaduddin Owaisi's All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Aurangabad Parliamentary Constituency.

Aurangabad was recently in news after Congress MLA from Sillod Abdul Sattar resigned from the party and announced to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election from Aurangabad as Independent. Abdul Sattar was upset after the Congress named Subhash Zambad as the party's candidate from Aurangabad.
