
New Delhi: Former TRAI chief Nripendra Mishra was Wednesday appointed principal secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The formalities of his appointment have been cleared today," a senior official told IANS.
Mishra, a 1967 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has served in various administrative field positions.
He was chairman of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in 2006.
