New York:
The UAE will give $1 million to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)
to help in its efforts to improve the condition of the Palestinian
refugees, it was announced Wednesday.
The UAE's permanent representative to the UN, Ahmad Abdul Rahman
Al Jarman offered the UAE's thanks to UNRWA's Commissioner and its
staff for their tireless efforts to improve the condition of
Palestinian refugees.
He said the UAE has donated $1 million in support of UNRWA budget
for the year 2011.
