Art expo opens in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, wife of crown prince of Abu Dhabi Saturday inaugurated a four-day art exhibition at the Emirates Palace here.

The expo is themed Ladies' Private View. It is organised by the Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation.

She serves as the chair of the Host Committee for Abu Dhabi Art.

Some of the royal women guests included Sheikha Manal Bint Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, wife of Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Sheikha Al-Yaziya Bint Saif bin Saif Al Nahyan, wife of Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and Sheikha Bint Saif Bin Mohammed Al-Nahyan, wife of Executive Council member Sheik Sultan Bin Khalifa Al-Nahyan, among others.

Wives of ambassadors of different countries also attended.
