Melbourne: A 53-year-old man was questioned by the Australian police for secretly filming women in a staff toilet of a hospital.

The man who worked at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne was questioned Oct 29 after a spy camera was found in a female toilet cubicle at the hospital, The Age reported Wednesday.

"He was investigated in relation to using an optical surveillance device and upskirting," police said. The man was released pending summons.

A hospital spokeswoman said the man has been dismissed.
