IIM-Rohtak foundation stone laid by Kapil

Rohtak:
Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal today laid the foundation stone of
the Indian Institute of Management-Rohtak at a village here and
announced that a campus of National Sports University, Coimbatore
will soon be established in the district.
"Haryana is poised to become the centre of education and Rohtak
will be the next satellite city of Delhi," Sibal said after laying
the foundation stone of the institute in Garnawathi village.
At present, classes were temporarily being held at Maharishi
Dayanand University, Rohtak.
The Union Human Resource Development Minister also assured that a
campus of National Sports University, Coimbatore will soon be
established here.
The campus will help polishing talent of budding players as all
facilities will be available in the complex, he said.
Expressing concern over brain drain, Sibal said "alumni of our
reputed management institutes are managing several multi-national
companies in foreign countries.
