Malegaon: The Indian Business Capital Mumbai is once again ready to witness the Islamic Dawah Conference, this time in Urdu. The ten-day conference, all set to get under way October 22, is third in as many years, earlier two being organised in the English language.

 

"Organised by the Mumbai based Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), the ten-day conference - expected to be exemplary in terms of grandeur, excellence, leading speakers and audience participation - would be held at Somaiya Ground near RCF in Sion, Mumbai", said media coordinator Mubarak Kapadi while speaking to ummid.com.

 

"The Conference would be inaugurated with the Friday sermon delivered by Shaikh Abdel Wadood Hanif - former Imam of Masjid An Nabawai - the Prophet mosque. Before it ends on October 31, the Friday sermon on October 29 would be delivered by Imam of Masjid Al Haram, Makkah, Shaikh Abdur Rehman As-Sudais", he added.

 

Elaborating on the theme of the conference that would run from morning 10 to evening 10 every day till October 31, Mubarak Kapadi said, "For people of all beliefs, this conference will be a learning opportunity to realize, reflect on and correct their misunderstanding (if any) about Islam in the light of talks by authoritative and renowned international speakers."

 

Renowned Islamic scholars and preachers from all across the country and abroad would converge at the venue to address the conference. The speakers who have already given nod to address include Maulana Fuzailurehman Qasmi, Maulana Salman Husaini Nadvi, Maulana Mohd Ashfaque Salafi, Maulana Muqeem Faizee, Maulana Jalaluddin Umari, Mualana Ghulam Mohd Wastanavi, Dr. Wasiullah Abbas, Shaikh Zafarul Hasan Madani, Shaikh Abdul Hadi Umari and Maulana Ejaz Aslam.

 

"Besides these Islamic scholars, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Minister of State for Railways E Ahmed and Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh have also confirmed to attend the conference", said Mubarak Kapadi.

 

"The venue will also see a ten day Exhibition on Islam and Halal Expo. The inauguration of the exhibition will take place on October 22 at 11:00 in the morning," he said.

 

"The Halal Products Expo will showcase Halal certified Food, financial & investment products and opportunities, Halal Consumables, Herbal & Healthcare Products, Cosmetics and all the related trade industries to the Muslim community," he said.

"This is an effort with a clear objective to bring buyers and traders from the Halal Industry around the world annually to India by creating an interactive platform for the Global Halal Products industry", he said.

"This will be a world class exhibition, promoting trade networking and brotherhood amongst the investors on Halal Products & Services as well with other trades. A congregation of the international traders, buyers, investors, fund managers, agents, business captains, media, influential government officials & decision makers, will meet for the purpose of this event", he added.
