UAE Red Crescent hosts Iftar parties in Jerusalem

Jerusalem: The UAE Red Crescent hosted massive
Iftar parties in different parts of Jerusalem during last days of
Ramadan.
Over 6,000 poor men, women, orphans and people with special needs
attended the parties where meals were served for breaking the
Ramadan fasting.
Assistant Under Secretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Social
Affairs Dawud El-Deek said that the Iftar parties were well
attended by poor and destitute, especially from the families of
the Palestinian martyrs.
Red Crescent Society of the UAE is an affiliate of the
International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies,
meant to carry out Red Cross operations on a systematic basis
throughout the UAE.
