AMU Centre for Distance Education to add five more study centres

Aligarh: The Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has established five Study Centres in different parts of the country raising number of study centres to a total of fourteen.

The Director, Distance Education Centre, Dr. Mohd. Rizwan Khan said that the AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis has granted approval for the establishment of these centres at Makhdoom Abdul Qasim Educational and Welfare Society (Saharsa), New Horizon School (Bhagalpur), Al-Aziz Educational Foundation Trust (Muzaffarpur, Bihar), Asim Siddiqui Memorial Degree College (Badaun) and Madrasa Serajuyl Uloom (Moradabad).

Dr. Khan said that the approval has been given without any financial commitment on the part of the University and that these centres will function under the purview of the Centre for Distance Education.

 

The Distance Education Centre offers graduate and undergraduate courses.
