New Delhi: The Jamia Millia Islamia has set up a help desk for students seeking
admission to various courses on offer at the varsity, an official
said Friday.
Around 25 student volunteers guided by a programme officer will
manage the desk, set up near the main gate of the Faculty of
Engineering and Technology, an official said.
"Students can contact the volunteers for any queries and can also
call a helpline - 26981717- ext- 1790. The volunteers have been
briefed regarding all details pertaining to admission procedures,"
an official of Jamia said.
"Admission process for the academic session 2011-12 is in full
swing in the varsity," added the official.
