Wednesday May 11, 2011 08:39:43 AM, IANS

Bhopal: Students riding their two-wheelers to colleges in Madhya Pradesh will now be denied entry if they are not wearing helmets, the state's education minister said Tuesday.

"We have issued circulars to all colleges in state to insure every student who rides a two-wheeler wears a helmet," Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma told reporters here.

The rule will be applicable to all colleges, government and private engineering institutes, polytechnics and other educational institutions in the state.
