New Delhi:
In yet another excellent performance by Muslim students, Allahabad
based Dr. Asma Zoya secured 7th rank at the All India Institute of Medical
Sciences (AIIMS) entrance exams for MDS and 25th rank in the All India Post Graduate Dental
Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE) 2012, according to Dr. Mohammad
Kashif Razi, president, AIGA UP chapter.
Dr Asma had earlier secured 2nd rank
at the prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and a 2nd rank at Aligarh Muslim
University (AMU).
Dr. Asma Zoya, a resident of
Allahabad, joined BDS at Aligarh Muslim University in 2005.
In view of her excellent academic record, she was selected for IDB
Scholarship Programme, said Razi.
“She remained a rank holder throughout her graduation studies. She
was very active as an IDB student and was also appointed Jt.
Secretary of ISA, north-zone-II", he said.
"She was also awarded Excellent
Performance Award (EPA) by IDB, Jeddah in 2008,” he added.
She now plans to join Endodontics &
Conservative Dentistry.
