Militants storm Kabul hotel

Kabul:
Blasts and gun shots were heard inside a luxury hotel in Kabul
Sunday after militants stormed the building near the UN mission in
Afghanistan.
Security officials said that blasts and gun shots were heard
around 1.30 p.m. from inside the Kabul Star hotel after some
suicide bombers entered the building, which is located in a VIP
area that also houses the Afghan foreign ministry.
There was no immediate reports of casualties, Xinhua reported.
