London: A US Secret
Service agent in charge of protecting President Barack Obama was
photographed "urinating" in full view of the public, but officials
said there was no accuracy in the report, a British daily said.
According to the Daily Mail, the Secret Service agent was standing
to the side of the stage where Obama was addressing his fans in
Cincinnati in Ohio state. The man's action was clicked by a
photographer from the Politico network.
As soon as the photograph was posted on Twitter, the Secret
Service confirmed that the man was their agent, but added that he
was not urinating.
The agency claimed its agent was simply following protocol and was
facing away from the president to look out for any threats that
may be headed his way.
"There is no accuracy to the reporting associated with this photo
thus far," Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan was quoted as
saying.
