New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, a Bhopal airport official ordered bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit to leave the VIP lounge after she refused his request to have a photo session.
"The official wished to get a photograph with the actress, but she refused to pose as she was very tired with entire days of promotion. The official got angry and asked the actress to leave the lounge immediately", said producer Anubhav Sinha.
Madhuri Dixit and Anubhav Sinha were recently in Bhopal for the promotion of their upcoming movie "Gulaab-Gang'.
After the promotion when the two were waiting for their return flight to Mumbai, an airport official came to them, and took them to the VIP lounge.
Sinha said, "An official walked up to us and escorted us to the VIP lounge. We weren't even going there. He then asked Madhuri for a photograph. Madhuri's manager, Minaxi, refused, saying that Madhuri was very tired. The man then got angry and asked us to leave the lounge immediately."
Both Sinha and Madhuri left the lounge. But an agitated Sinha later described the incident inhuman and unfair.
"How can someone do such a thing to a woman? It is completely unfair to her", he said, "Fortunately, it was time for our flight, but what happened was completely uncalled for."
