Mumbai: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), an all-India entrance examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes L.L.B and L.L.M. will be conducted online this year, official announced.
Interested candidates can fill online forms from January 1 till March 31. The examination will be held on May 19.
CLAT 2015 under the Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University(RMLNLU) will conduct the exam online, as mentioned in a national daily.
"Right from filling up the forms to the final fee submission, everything will be online", the report said.
The move is taken in order to ensure efficiency and transparency in the examination process.
Online testing protocol will be available on the universities website for the students. During the examination also candidates will go through an orientation on how to appear for the exam, an official told to a newspaper.
The examination fee for the exam is unaltered. There is an increase in the number of participation universities-16- one more than last year. There are around 350 seats in LLM and around 1,700 in LLB.
LLM Students can expect only objective questions with CLAT going online.
