Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, their daughter North West, together with Georgian rapper Cyhi The Prynce, took pictures and shared a meal with Louis Farrakhan Muhammad.

The meeting came as a surprise to fans and critics of the rap star, and it sparked a fierce speculations that the entire West family was planning to convert to Islam, with reports that North West was to be "baptized" into the faith.

The speculations however were dispelled.

While the exact reason behind the visit is still unclear, it is learned that Farrakhan has been known to often consult with various black public figures and celebrities alike. Kanye also grew up in Chicago– a city where much of Farrakhan's work takes place.

Kanye West has always been vocal about his religious beliefs. "You do not want to go against the power. I'm working on one mission, and that's a mission from God," the rap star said on a Power 106 FM appearance where he defended comparing himself to innovators like Steve Jobs.
