Mumbai: The results of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held in February 2015 is likely to be declared on or before April 1, according to official announcement.
"Declaration of Result on or before 01 April 2015", a notification on the official website says adding that the result will be published online on the CBSE CTET official website.
The board has already published the answer key and OMR sheet responses for the CTET Feruray 2015 session on the website.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level entrance exam held for candidates who wish to teach primary and elementary classes. Paper (I) is held for candidates who wish to teach Classes I to V, whereas Paper (II) is scheduled for candidates who are interested in teaching Classes VI to VIII.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.
It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
The CTET scores are accepted by schools of NCT of Delhi, Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories. CTET scores are also accepted by other institutions like unaided private schools and other state government schools.
