Chongqing (China): A woman in China who was about to embark on her first flight made a massive faux pas and deployed the evacuation slide. The flight was delayed by several hours after the woman who was looking to use a washroom, instead opened the exit door, local media reported Thursday.
The incident occurred while the passengers had finished boarding and the aircraft was preparing for take-off .
Everyone on board heard a hissing noise and then someone noticed that the slide had been deployed.
There was confusion all around for a little while till all passengers on Southern Airlines flight from Chongqing to Shenzhenwere were asked to disembark.
The 50-year-old woman was taken away by security officials for investigation.
