Aurangabad: The School Education and Sports Department, Govt of Maharashtra is set to release online the General Merit List of the students of Aurangabad Region who have registered for admission to First Year Junior College (FYJC) today i.e. Tuesday July 04, 2017 at 11:00 am.

Students should note that though the education department has fixed 11:00 am as the time to release the FYJC Admission 2017 General Merit List, a delay of few hours is possible. Hence they should not get panicked.

After the release of General Merit List on July 04, online correction, if any, can be done between 11am to 04:00 pm on July 05, 2017.
The First Merit List will be released on July 10. Payment of full fees to confirm admission will be done between July 11-13. The time to do is from morning 10 to 05 in the evening.
Declaration of Cut offs and statud of vacant seats after first round will be done on July 14 at 05:00 pm.
If a student wants to change stream for Second Merit List, she or he can do that between July 15-18.
The released schedule further says that the Second Merit List will be released online on July 20, Third Merit List will be out on July 29 and Fourth Merit List will be published on August 06, 2017.
The FYJC Admission authorities under the School Education and Sports Department had earlier announced that it will conduct four rounds of admission process once every week between June 15 to July 15, 2017.
If seats remain vacant, three additional rounds of admission will be held once every two weeks up to September 1.
A ‘zero round’ will be conducted for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Around 30% seats in online admissions will be reserved for girl students from poor backgrounds.
The FYJC online admission process in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur regions started after the 2017 SSC results were declared in June second week.
The last date to fill Part 2 Option Form was June 27. But, due to various reasons the process was delayed. Hence, the Education department decided to extend the last date till June 29.
The entire admission process for Nashik students will be done through the special portal launched for the purpose, the direct link of which is "aurangabad.11thadmission.net".
Separate FYJC admission portals have also been launched for the students in Pune, Mumbai MMR, Nashik, Amravati and Nagpur regions. The FYJC 2017 General Merit List of these regions is also released today.
