UPTET 2019: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will conduct Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2019) on January 08, 2020, according to official release.
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2019) was orginally scheduled to be held on December 22, 2019. It was however postponed because of Internet ban following protests over Citizenship Amendment Act 2019.
"Holiday has been announced in all degree colleges coming under the department in view of the UP-TET 2019 scheduled on January 08, 2020", Amit Bhardwaj, Joint Secretary State Higher Education Department, said.
Teacher Eligibility Test is compulsory for recruitment of teachers in government and aided private schools. More than 16.3 lakh candidates have registered for this year's TET exam.
The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) had released on its website upbasiceduboard.gov.in Thursday December 12, 2019 the Admit Card of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2019).
UPTET will comprise of 02 papers. As per the revised time table, UPTET Paper I will be held on Wednesday January 08, 2020 from 10 to 12:30 pm. UPTET Paper II will be held on the same day from 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm.
